Rinse & repeat weather pattern continues
It's a weather pattern we are used to and it should continue at least through the start of the upcoming weekend. Heat, humidity and a daily chance for afternoon and evening thundershowers.

HEAT, HUMIDITY, RINSE & REPEAT
Sounds like a recipe for typical July weather here in the Tennessee Valley. Last Summer was dry, so a return to a more "normal" pattern seems a bit wet. Periods of sun and periods of t-showers each day. The better chances during the afternoon and evening hours. Daily high temperatures in the upper 80s to near 90. But, due to the afternoon humidity levels averaging above 50%, the Heat Index of "Feels Like" temperatures should be in the mid/upper 90s. This trend should continue through Saturday. Of the next four days, Thursday could have the best coverage overall during the afternoon and evening hours.
Longer range weather patterns show the possibility of a slight change to this weather pattern by the second half of the weekend. The possible arrival of slightly drier air means that the chance for afternoon and evening t-showers could be a lot lower Sunday and Monday. Also, not nearly as humid during the afternoon hours. The drier air could also allow for morning temperatures to be just a little more comfortable in the upper 60s.
