80s returning and watching for the possibility of storms Friday
After a chill this past weekend, temperatures should continue to rapidly warm for the next few afternoons. Mainly dry until a chance of storms returns for late week.

The weekend chill is quickly being replaced by a rapid warm up. A warm front passing through Monday Night could bring some clouds and even a few showers (far north and east). Some clouds to start Tuesday, but then partly to mostly sunny with afternoon highs quickly warming into the mid 80s. Wednesday looks just as warm with a sunny to partly sunny sky and afternoon highs back in the mid 80s. Mornings should not be as cool, but still comfortable in the upper 50s. More cloud cover by Thursday, but afternoon highs should still reach the low/mid 80s through the afternoon.
LATE WEEK STORM CHANCES
A few afternoon and evening storms could occur, but the more widespread chance of rain and storms could move in late Thursday Night and for most of the day Friday. Right now, the chance of severe storms looks low, but we'll continue to watch this system as it evolves late week. Off and on periods of showers and storms for most of the day Friday, then moving out Friday Night. Rainfall amount projections are averaging around 0.50".
SLIGHTLY COOLER MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND
If this late week system stays on track, drier air could return just in time to start the upcoming Mother's Day weekend. Not only drier by Saturday afternoon, but slightly cooler air as well. Clouds & a few lingering showers Saturday morning, then partly sunny with afternoon highs in the mid 70s, then quite cool Saturday Night with lower 50s by Sunday Morning. The rest of Mother's Day looks very nice with sunshine and afternoon highs in the mid/upper 70s. Hopefully this pattern won't change as we approach the weekend.
