Fog burns off this morning, then dry and warmer with highs in the lower 70s. Record today is 78, but I am aiming for 74 in Chattanooga.
Friday could break the record of 77 set back in 1890! Forecast high will be 78. A cold front moves in on Friday night with scattered storms possible. Some of those storms could be strong closer to midnight. The best risk of storms remains north, however IF storms can develop, gusty winds would be the main threat. Windy and much cooler Saturday with highs in the 50s and lows could fall into the 20s by Sunday morning. More rain next week.
- TODAY: Fog through mid morning, then a mix of clouds and sun. Warm with afternoon highs in the low 70s.
- TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with an overnight low in the mid 50s.
- FRIDAY: Partly sunny and very warm with an afternoon high in the mid/upper 70s. Some showers and storms are possible late Friday Night through the predawn hours of Saturday.
- THIS WEEKEND: Partly cloudy, breezy on Saturday. Highs in the low to mid 50s. Clear and COLD Saturday night with lows in the 20s to 30. Sunny, less windy on Sunday with highs in the upper 50s.
