Walker Valley pitcher Matthew Pigg throws a no-hitter
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. —
Matthew Pigg was in the zone Monday afternoon against Silverdale.
The tall Walker Valley pitcher went the distance in a five-inning mercy rule game.
The lanky right-hander threw the no-hitter, while his teammates provided the defense behind him.
The Mustangs also provided a lot of offensive spark in this out-of-conference contest.
Mason Oran hit a solo shot home run.
And first baseman Brady Swafford hit a fifth inning grand slam to propel the Mustangs to an 11-0 victory.
