Let the season begin for the Lookouts!

The season opener for the Lookouts this evening was up on Hawk Hill.

They hosted Mobile in the first of five games. The first of 140 games this season in the Southern League regular season.

The weather really didn’t cooperate, but still, fans showed up, and grabbing some concessions before sitting down to watch the game.

First inning, the Looks try and get something going. Travis Harrison attempting to steal second base. But BayBears catcher Jose Briceno throws him out. Hutton Moyer applying the tag to end the inning.

Second inning, Caleb Adams takes Lookouts starter Kohl Stewart to center field for the base hit. But the BayBears would leave him stranded at first.

Tyler Carpenter was on the bump for the BayBears. Chattanooga couldn't get anything going against him. Dan Rolfing with the strikeout here. Carpenter had five "k's" on the night.

Mobile picks up a single run in the 5th inning. And then adds an insurance run in the 9th. The Looks drew blanks all the way across.

Mobile won 2-0.

The season is underway!
