Chattanooga Moc senior Steven Fox capped an incredible run at Cherry Hills in Colorado Sunday, by winning the men's U-S Amateur championship on the first playoff hole.
36 holes wasn't enough in this one. Fox drained a birdie putt on the 37th hole to defeat Michael Weaver.
Fox had to win the last two holes of regulation to force a playoff. And he did just that.
The Hendersonville native now joins a list of former U-S Amateur champions that include Bobby Jones, Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods.
