Mocs Give Wade Raise And Extension
The Chattanooga Mocs are showing their appreciation for the men's basketball coach.
Vice Chancellor and Athletics Director David Blackburn
has extended the contract of Will Wade and given him a raise.
Wade has received a $10,000 raise with his salary increasing up to $202,000 in the April of 2019 season. His contract has been extended through 2018-2019.
This past season was Wade's first. He led the Mocs to 18-15 record.
"Will really met and exceeded expectations in his first season," Blackburn said. "We want to win in every area, and his program took great strides forward on the court and in the classroom, while continuing to build on a great reputation in the community. We look forward to what lies ahead."
