The Southern Conference-leading Chattanooga Mocs won their 11th straight game Monday night, getting their 24th straight win at McKenzie Arena, but UNC-Greensboro sure made them work for it.
Coach Wes Moore's team took a 20-14 first half lead with a 6-0 run, but Greensboro battled back and led by a point at halftime.
The Lady Mocs never could shake UNCG in the second half.
The visitors led by two with just under 16 minutes to go when Kayla Christopher nailed three straight three-pointers to put the Lady Mocs on top to stay.
Christopher had five three-balls in the game, and is now second all-time at UTC with 216 career three pointers.
She finished with 20 points, Ashlen Dewart scored 19 and had 10 rebounds, Tot Jackson had 11, Faith Dupree 10 as the Lady Mocs fight off UNC-G 74-68, running their record to 21-3 overall, 14-1 in the SoCon... they'll play at Charleston Saturday then go to GA Southern next Monday night.Lady Mocs Get 24th Straight Win at the Roundhouse
