Huesman On Honor List
UTC Mocs quarterback Jacob Huesman has been nominated for a prestigious honor. He's been nominated to the 2014 Allstate American Football Coaches Association team.
The Chattanooga native has been nominated for community good works.
Those include recruiting students for the Get in the Game, Be the Match Bone Marrow registry.
Huesman has also spent time volunteering with the Special Olympics.
And he's taken part in the Friends of Jaclyn adoption of a team captain with cancer.
Huesman is one of 182 nominees.
That will be narrowed to 22 players through all divisions of college football and unveiled in September.
Past members of the Good Works Team include Peyton and Eli Manning and Heisman Trophy Winners Robert Griffin III and Tim Tebow.
