13th player signs with the Vols
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. —
The Tennessee Vols signed another player to the 2018 class and he has potential to be a very good one.
Alontae Taylor's signature was expected, but didn't happen until Friday, the last day of the inaugural Early Signing Day three day period.
The Coffee County wide receiver is an Under Armour All-American.
He's rated as the nation's number 23 wide receiver in a composite ranking.
He had decommitted from the Vols and Georgia was flirting heavily with him.
But when Jeremy Pruitt took over, Taylor recommitted.
The Vols now have 13 players signed.
They have landed five of the state's top 10 players, including Taylor.
The Vols have a lot more work to do between now and National Signing Day on February 7th.
