Sheriff: Suspect arrested in 2 cases of football field vandalism in Hamilton Co.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) has made an arrest in the vandalism of two Hamilton County school football fields.

HCSO spokesman Matt Lea says that Riley Odman vandalized fields at both Ooltewah High School and Wallace Elementary School.

Lea says the HCSO was told that a suspect driving a red truck drove through the football fields of both Ooltewah High and Wallace Elementary, causing damage.

Odman was arrested and has been charged with felony vandalism, trespass, driving on a suspended license, and financial liability law (no proof of insurance).

Odman is being booked into Hamilton County Jail.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) is investigating after Ooltewah High School's athletic field was recently vandalized.

The HCSO says they were told on Monday morning that the school's athletic field had been damaged by a vehicle.

HCSO says someone drove onto the field, damaging it in the process.

We do not yet know what the estimated cost of the damage is at this time.
