Chattanooga Police are spending Wednesday searching an area near the Suck Creek boat ramp with hopes they can find clues that explain the disappearance of a Hamilton County man last month.

23-year-old Bradley Powell was reported missing on December 9th, after being last seen on December 7th.

Police say his family says it is unusual for him not to go so long without contacting family members.

Police believe this missing person case does have suspicious elements. The homicide unit and missing persons unit for the Chattanooga Police Department is helping with the search for clues at the Suck Creek boat ramp.

Powell is 5' 6", 140 pounds, has brown hair, and blue eyes. He was last seen in the Red Bank/Hixson areas of Hamilton County.

We have a crew on the scene. Depend on us for updates on this story as we get them.
