Friday, a Marion County jury found Holly Rutledge guilty of aggravated assault and reckless homicide in the death of 5-year-old Lucas Dillon, but not guilty of murder.

Investigators say Lucas died of blunt force trauma to the head.

Doctors who took the stand this week testified that Lucas's brain scan looked similar to a brain that suffered a multi-story fall, bad car crash, or hits from a baseball bat.

"I would suspect he had significant pain," Doctor Annamaria Church said while describing Lucas's CAT scan.

The jury deliberated for several hours.
