Two Chattanooga Council members lose seats in runoff election

Two incumbent Chattanooga City Council members have lost their respective runoff elections.

Both Chris Anderson and Yusuf Hakeem fell to challengers Erskine Oglesby Junior and Demetrus Coonrod.

Erskine Oglesby Junior will represent District 7 and Demetrus Coonrod will represent District 9.

Anderson and Hakeem entered Tuesday's runoff elections after failing to receive 50% or more of the vote during the March 7th election.
