TN Bureau of Investigation updates on Elizabeth Thomas AMBER Alert

Elizabeth Thomas went missing Monday.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) reports that they are still very concerned about the well-being of Elizabeth Thomas.

Since issuing the AMBER Alert on Tuesday, the TBI has received very few leads.

None of the leads have produced any new developments in the case.

Due to the low number of tips, the TBI has concluded that Thomas and her suspected captor, Tad Cummins, may be hiding out of the original target area in the southeast.

The two were last seen Monday morning in Columbia, Tennesee.

Elizabeth Thomas is a 15 year-old female with blonde hair and hazel eyes.

She is approximately 5'5 and weighs 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a flannel shirt and black leggings.

Tad Cummins has brown hair and brown eyes and stands at 6'0 tall.

He weighs approximately 200 pounds.

Cummins is driving a silver Nissan Rogue with Tennessee tag 976-ZPT and is believed to be armed with two handguns.

A warrant has been issued for Cummins arrest for Sexual Contact with a Minor.

Anyone who has had contact with either person prior to their disappearance is asked to contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.

If you spot the vehicle and can verify the license plate, call 911.
