Salvation Army look to "Beat the Heat"
The need to stay cool is getting easier in Chattanooga.
With temperatures flirting with triple digits, it's no wonder why the Salvation army is working to help people stay safe this summer. 150 of box fans have been distributed out to the public in an effort to help low income families beat the heat.
Salvation army offices have also noticed that families take to swimming as another method.
The Salvation Army also says they have a few hydration stations at their centers. Anyone is welcome to free cold water to help stay hydrated.
