Rhea County Jail searching for missing inmate
RHEA COUNTY, Tenn. —
The Rhea County Jail confirmed to NewsChannel 9's Kayla Strayer Sunday night that it's looking for a missing inmate.
The Jail says 53 year old Richard Bynum was granted a furlough (which is a leave of absence) but never returned.
According to the Rhea County Sheriff's Department website, Bynum was first booked into the Jail on April 12, 2018.
It's unknown at this time what charges Bynum was facing.
