Father, son charged with raping juvenile
FYFFE, Alabama —
Authorities with the DeKalb County, Alabama Sheriff's Department are charging a father and son after investigators say they abducted and raped a juvenile.
Sheriff Jimmy Harris says on Friday night just after 10:30 officers got a tip from a concerned citizen about a missing juvenile.
Officers with the Fyffe Police Department and DeKalb County Sheriff's Department arrived at a home on Blackwell Street in Fyffe.
Officers located the missing juvenile at that home, along with 51-year-old Daniel David Wooten and his son, 30-year-old Michael Anthony Wooten.
Harris says Michael Wooten was arrested and charged with three counts of rape in the second degree, three counts of second degree sodomy, interference with child custody and Sorna violation.
Authorities also arrested and charged Daniel Wooten with rape in the second degree and interference with child custody.
