Cleveland Police identify residential burglary suspect

UPDATE: (Tuesday) Thanks to many tips, the Cleveland Police Department have identified 23-year-old Austin Plemons as the suspect in Saturday's burglary.

Cleveland PD have active warrants out for Plemons' arrest for aggravated burglary.

PREVIOUSLY:

The Cleveland, TN Police Department are looking for help identifying a suspect in a burglary that took place on Saturday.

Police say a man forced his way into a home on 4734 Frontage Road in Cleveland around 2:00 p.m. Saturday and stole several items while the owner, his wife and 14-month-old baby were away.

The following items were stolen: a safe containing a social security card, passport, and truck title, as well as a piggy bank containing $60 in change and a $400 laptop.

The man then left the house and got into the passenger side of a silver car sitting in the driveway, and the suspects and car drove off.

Officers on the scene found a yellow pry bar that the man had used to break into the house's rear door.

Police say that the suspect seems to have only gone through the bedroom.

Cleveland Police are encouraging people to tag the suspect in their Facebook post if you know him.
