Chattanooga Police cadets graduate to officers
The Chattanooga Police Department honored several of their new recruits Tuesday night.
After 21 weeks of training, 23 cadets will now become the city's newest officers.
The event took place from 7:30 to 9:30 pm at the Calvary Chapel Chattanooga on Broad Street downtown.
We spoke to officer Abiodun Oseni who immigrated from Nigeria.
He said it was the news of the July 16th attacks that led him to be a Chattanooga Police Officer.
Oseni, as he is called by his friends, says he went through advanced training in South Carolina and Poland before deciding to become a police officer.
