The Bradley County Sheriff's Dept. has issued a renewed plea for information regarding the disappearance of Marsha Brantley.
Brantley was 51 years old when she was last seen in late May or early June of 2009. She was not reported missing until November when a friend contacted a local attorney to report she had not been seen for several months. The attorney passed the information to the District Attorneys Office and they notified the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Bob Gault, spokesperson for the Bradley County Sheriff's dept. said, "Recently the Bradley County Sheriffs Office accepted a significant role in the ongoing TBI investigation to seek new information in the missing persons case."
Gault said at the time of her disappearance Brantley was married to Donnie Brantley and they had no children. He has told the TBI that his wife left him and they were planning to divorce.
Brantley is about 5 8 weighing around 125 pounds. She has light brown hair and blue eyes.
Brantley was known to enjoy camping and frequently spent time in a family-owned camper in Townsend Tennessee. Investigators have not found the camper and are seeking information about it as well.
Anyone who can provide information about Brantley or her camper should contact either the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND, or the Bradley County Sheriffs Office at 423-728-7336.
