Each Life Care building undergoes an annual audit of its core rehab program, assessing how the team works with other departments to provide a cohesive plan of care. Auditors (regional rehab associates with Life Care) score the rehab teams on four key areas: environment, human resources, clinical programming and systems management.
Facilities that achieve Gold standard are shown to have a strong, stable therapy team that is eligible to develop a specialty program based on the community’s needs.
“Our rehabilitation department consists of very stable staff with many specialties within their fields,” said Guy Crosson, executive director at Life Care Center of Red Bank. “They, along with the nursing associates they work hand-in-hand with, have earned these excellent results.”
Crosson added that the facility is developing a specialty program for patients with Parkinson’s disease.
Life Care Center of Red Bank, located at 1020 Runyan Dr., is one of 25 skilled nursing facilities in Tennessee operated or managed by Life Care Centers of America.
Founded in 1976, Life Care is a nationwide health care company. With headquarters in Cleveland, Tenn., Life Care operates or manages more than 220 nursing, post-acute and Alzheimer’s centers in 28 states. For more information about Life Care, visit lcca.com.
