Erlanger Celebrates Halloween

Erlanger Hospital transformed Wednesday, as it celebrated Halloween in an non-traditional fashion. Pediatric nurses and doctors joined forces with man’s best friend to bring the Halloween spirit to hospitalized kids. Also dressed as lady bugs, two of Erlanger’s pet therapy pups. They often make visits to the hospital throughout the year.
“The goal today is to make them smile and laugh” says an Erlanger nurse, “hopefully families have fun today, to take their mind off of why they are here for medical treatment.”
Although this is the first year that the hospital planned something this big, the kids are hoping that it won’t be the last.
