Tennessee PTA hosts Summer Leadership Training in Chattanooga
Hamilton County PTA would like to invite the public to Tennessee PTA Summer Leadership Training on Wednesday, July 25th at Hixson Middle School which is located at 5681 Old Hixson Pike, Chattanooga, TN 37343. Anyone who is interested in increasing parental involvement in their schools is welcome.
The cost is $5 a person for PTA members and $10 a person for everyone else. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the day will conclude at 2:30 p.m. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Some of the workshops will include: PTA Basics, ABCs for Treasurers, Common Core State Standards, National PTA Reflections Arts Program, Advocating 365 Days a Year and more.
The Tennessee PTA Summer Leadership Training is part of the 2012 Tour de Tennessee. Tennessee PTA will host trainings in five other areas of the state: Memphis, Nashville, Clarksville, Knoxville and the Tri-Cites area.
