Knox County Government's website attacked on election night, results unaffected
KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. —
Knox County Government says their web servers were attacked on election night, but results of the election were not affected.
The county government tweeted Tuesday night that the website suffered a successful denial of service (DOS) attack.
They say voting machines aren't connected to the internet, and results were unaffected.
