To The Rescue: Mudge
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. —
Mudge is a sweet and loving 2 year old beagle mix looking for her forever home.
She came to McKamey Animal Center in February as a stray wandering the streets.
When she first arrived, Mudge was shy and fearful but quickly warmed up to shelter staff and volunteers.
McKamey says Mudge is "continually blossoming as her personality grows and she's eager to please and be loved."
Shelter staff believes Mudge will do best in a calm home without a lot of excitement.
Mudge is smart and fairly easy to train so long as you have treats in hand!
When Mudge first arrived at McKamey, she was diagnosed with heart worms.
The shelter is happy to report that Mudge responded positively to treatment and is now heart worm free!
You can meet Mudge at McKamey Animal Center between 10AM and 4PM on Saturday and between 11AM and 4PM on Sunday.
