For a woman in Ringgold fundraising is a fundamental part of her day.

From garage sales to bake sales she's raised more than $100,000 for almost two dozen families in need.

In this week's Pay It Forward, Jessica Harthorn surprised her at a fundraiser she organized in Fort Oglethorpe, benefiting a young man with cerebral palsy.

Shawn Stanley says she loves cheese just as much as she loves the people she raises money for.

It's the reason why she partnered with Moe's Southwest Grill in Fort O at least a dozen times.

We were there for one of their "Spirit Nights" to see how she's helping her friend's son one taco at a time.

As the burritos were being rolled inside Moe's, our cameras were rolling in the parking lot.

The restaurant's marketing rep., Judy Cornelius, revealing why a special woman from Ringgold deserves $500 cash.

"She is one selfless person, everybody loves her and she feels convicted to give back," said Judy.

Tonight, Shawn Stanley is raising money for this young man, Joshua Fawcett.

A portion of every dollar spent at Moe's will be used to pay for an experimental treatment for cerebral palsy that his insurance won't cover.

"If everything goes the way I think it's going to go, it may even repair some dead brain cells that cause palsy, so we are not sure. It would change my life. It would be like having super powers," said Joshua.

So Judy made sure Shawn felt like his super hero.

"Hey guys, I need your attention real quick. Shawn Stanley, on behalf of Newschannel 9 and the McMahan Law Firm, we nominate you for Pay It Forward," surprised Judy.

"Oh my gosh!" said Shawn.

"Put your hand out, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, we love you!" said Judy.

"Oh my gosh I can't believe that!" said Shawn.

As people lined up for dinner, Shawn put on her "Queen of Cheese"crown and explained why she dedicates a day every month to raising money for people in need.

"It's a passion, a passion. You can't out give," said Shawn.

And she says, you can never eat too much "Cheese!"said Shawn and her friends.
