The SOUTH is known for its unique literature that celebrates PLACE and its impact on our lives. But the South also deserves to be known for its FOLK art, which is quite particular and uniquely OURS. Celebrating Folk Art is the theme of an entire year of exhibitions and programs at the McMinn County Living Heritage Museum, which, if you've never visited, is a gem in itself! The latest exhibit there features the craft and ART of Johnny McGrew, who joins us, along with the museum's new executive director, Amy Blackburn.

HUMANE SOCIETY - NEEDING HELP DURING RIVERBEND
Riverbend is next week and the humane society will be there with the coolest tent on the River!

Not only will they have cool canines available for adoption, the tent stays cool and comfortable with their industrial size water cooled fan!
June is Adopt-a-Shelter Cat Month and they have lots and lots of kitties!
