Prematurity Awareness Month in Tennessee!

November is Prematurity Awareness Month when the March of Dimes focuses the nation's attention on the problem of premature birth. The Tennessee Chapter is partnering up with the Tennessee Department of Health, the Tennessee Hospital Association and the Tennessee Initiative for Perinatal Quality Care. During the month, the March of Dimes will feature Awareness Advertising Campaigns on buses in Memphis, 30-second Cable PSAs and Live Radio discussion all across the state, Print Ads in Hospital Newsletters and Web Banners on Hospital Sites. We are going to feature news coverage from various NICU units around Tennessee!

Also, be on the lookout across the state for some popular landmarks in Purple!!

World Prematurity Day is on November 17 and we are also anticipating the release of the 2012 Premature Birth Report Card.
